Is your Diaphragm Holding you Back?

In my opinion, your diaphragm is a crucial structure to mobilize.

Not only is it our many respiratory muscle, but it is a key component in maintaining proper cranial, chest, abdominal and pelvic pressure.
🗝Super important when lifting heavy for work or exercise!
We also have very important structures that pass through our diaphragm. Such as the aorta, vena cava, spine, esophagus, and vagus nerve to name a few.
We do not want additional tension on those structures! It can create dysfunction throughout our body and cause some serious side effects.
Diaphragm tension can be associated with:
* lingering back and hip pain
* spinal discomfort
* breathing difficulty
* digestive disturbances
* chronic headaches and migraines
* circulatory congestion
* hiatal hernias
* abdominal weakness
* neck, mid back and rib pain
* pelvic floor issues
* urinary or bowel incontinence
I assess each client's diaphragm in every session and work on as needed. A lot of clients report major relief afterwards.
Have you had yours treated??
